Hinckley Dodge is the oldest continuously operating Dodge dealership in North America. Founded in 1915 by Robert H. Hinckley in Mount Pleasant, Utah, Hinckley Dodge was one of the first dealerships to open after the Dodge Brothers built their first automobile in 1914.
In 1927, Robert Hinckley moved the dealership to Ogden, Utah. In. 1955, Robert Hinckley Jr., opened a second location at 2309 S. State Street in Salt Lake City.
The dealerships have grown with the industry and today Jim Hinckley, grandson of the founder, operates both the Ogden and Salt Lake dealerships. As the industry has changed, so has Hinckley Dodge. Though founder Robert Hinckley often provided free driving lessons with purchase, even he could not have imagined what full service means today.
Today's Hinckley Dodge offers new and used vehicle sales, leasing, service for maintenance and mechanical repairs, parts sales and collision repairs. Recognized within the industry for excellence, Hinckley Dodge has received the Chrysler 5 star service award for twenty-two of the last twenty-three years and is a twelve year member of the Dodge Charger club for vehicle sales leadership. The Hinckley parts department has earned the Mopar Master Award for outstanding performance for the last twenty-five years.

In August 2007 Hinckley Dodge acquired D'Ambrosio Chrysler Jeep located at 2280 S. State St. and in October 2008 moved both dealerships to the 2309 S State St location. Adding the Chrysler Jeep brands has given Mr. Hinckley the ability to provide for all your auto needs.
